Machine and Plant Operators are responsible for setting up, operating, maintaining, and servicing all types of production machinery and equipment.

For the apprenticeship as a Machine and Plant Operator, a minimum of a secondary school leaving certificate (Hauptschulabschluss) is recommended.

Your tasks at Augustin Entsorgung:
• Setting up and operating machinery and equipment (e.g., trommel screen, BRT bag opener, ballistic separator)
• Maintenance and inspection of machinery and equipment
• Allocation and handling of materials, operating supplies, and auxiliary materials
• Implementation of quality assurance measures

Apprenticeship duration:
The apprenticeship for a Machine and Plant Operator lasts 2 years.
Apprenticeship remuneration:
• 1st year: €1,000
• 2nd year: €1,150
School/Company split:
• 1st year: 2 days school – 3 days company
• 2nd year: 1 day school – 4 days company
• Holiday entitlement: 27 days per year
