Which school leaving qualification is expected?
A secondary school leaving certificate is recommended for the Media Designer apprenticeship.

• You enjoy working on computers
• Basic technical understanding
• You are resilient to stress, as deadlines must be met during the Media Designer apprenticeship, and you often work under time pressure.
• You are creative, communicative, and customer-oriented
• Initial experience with programmes for digital image and media processing/creation (Adobe CC, Affinity, …)
• You are open to continuously learning new things
• You enjoy working in a team
• What else you should bring are good maths, German, and English skills

What you will learn with us:
• From advertisements, flyers, and brochures, to designs for vehicle wraps and exhibition stands, as well as media and content creation for our website and social media channels – as a Digital and Print Media Designer with us, you will have very interesting and varied tasks.
• The Digital Media specialisation focuses on the production of audiovisual media such as photos, videos, websites, and web applications. This specialisation deepens knowledge in the design and programming of digital media products. Databases and content management systems also play a significant role in media production.
• You will also learn how to coordinate your work results with the respective clients / employees / managers.
• You will learn to fly drones and obtain a drone pilot’s licence.

Apprenticeship duration:
The apprenticeship for a Media Designer (all genders) Digital and Print – Digital Media specialisation lasts 3 years.

Apprenticeship remuneration:
• 1st year: €1,000
• 2nd year: €1,150
• 3rd year: €1,200

School/Company split:
• 1st year: 2x school – 3x company
• 2nd year: 1x school – 4x company
• 3rd year: 1x school – 4x company
• Holiday entitlement: 27 days per year
