Which school qualifications are expected?
A secondary school leaving certificate (mittlerer Schulabschluss) is recommended for the apprenticeship as an Industrial Electronics Technician.

What skills should I bring?
• Resilience and teamwork skills
• Dexterity and hand-eye coordination (e.g., when laying cables in hard-to-reach places)
• Technical understanding (e.g., when planning electrical systems, installing switchgear)
• Prudence (e.g., when working on live components and voltage connections)
• Diligence and sense of responsibility (e.g., when checking the safety and protective functions of electrical systems)

Your tasks at Augustin Entsorgung:
• Maintaining, installing, and repairing operational and production facilities
• Analysing and rectifying faults, as well as commissioning new plant components
• Programming and configuring automation systems
• Control cabinet construction (processing mounting plates, wiring, measuring, and testing)
• Assembling and installing cable management systems, information cables, and power cables

Apprenticeship duration:
The apprenticeship for an Industrial Electronics Technician lasts 3.5 years.

Apprenticeship remuneration:
• 1st year: €1,150
• 2nd year: €1,250
• 3rd year: €1,350
• 4th year: €1,370

School/Company split:
• 1st year: 2x school – 3x company
• 2nd year: 1x school – 4x company
• 3rd year: 1x school – 4x company
• 4th year: 1x school – 4x company
• Holiday entitlement: 27 days per year
